ALLIUM (QUIZALOFOP-ETHYL 5% EC) based on Ethyl 2-{4-(6-chloroquinoxalin-2-yloxy) phenoxy} propionate, is a selective post emergence herbicide for the effective control of Grassy weeds in Soybean, Cotton, Groundnut,Urad and Onion crops.

MODE OF ACTION

• ALLIUM (QUIZALOFOP-ETHYL 5% EC) effectively controls Grassy weeds like Goose grass (Eleusineindcia),wild finger (Dactyloctenium aegyptium),Crab grass (Digitaria sanguinalis scop.), Love grass (Eragrostis sp.), Water crown grass (Paspalidium sp.), Viper grass (Dinebra ratroflexa),Barnyard grass (Echinochloa crusgalli), Sanwa/Sarnel (Echinochloa colonum), Crow foot grass (Dactyloctenium sp.). It is rapidly absorbed and translocated within the weeds, preventing regeneration. Even rain one hour after application does not reduce its effectiveness. Weed leaves typically turn purplish/red within 5-8 days and are completely killed within 10-15 days of ALLIUM application.
